The Hennig WorkFlow is a compact, retrofit pallet-changing system designed to automate material handling for CNC machining centers. The system focuses on increasing machine utilization by managing up to 40 mixed-use pallets within a single manufacturing cell.
By automating the transfer of workpieces between the storage system and the machine spindle, the platform allows machine tools to run unattended during overnight or weekend shifts.
The control architecture is capable of scheduling mixed production batches, allowing short-run jobs and high-volume production runs to share the same automation cell seamlessly. This scheduling capability minimizes manual setup interventions, enabling a single operator to load multiple workpieces in a single shift while the system processes hundreds of parts sequentially.
Structurally, the WorkFlow features a streamlined, compact physical footprint designed to fit into tight layouts where standard, bolt-on automated pallet changers might otherwise exceed space constraints.

Data integration is managed through the wider Hennig ecosystem, which interfaces directly with Slytek reporting software. This digital connection provides production managers with real-time diagnostics and performance metrics regarding cell efficiency and spindle uptime.
By transferring the repetitive tasks of component loading, monitoring, and staging to the automated cell, plants can reallocate skilled machinists to complex programming, specialized tooling setups, and high-tolerance machining challenges.
