Built specifically for production floors handling large, demanding workpieces, this machine is engineered from the ground up to absorb the intense vibrations associated with heavy stock removal.
At the core of the lathe's stability is its bed design, which integrates the main unit and leg structure into a single piece. By utilizing a box-shaped, double-wall configuration and a proprietary ribbing arrangement, the machine minimizes structural deflection under load. This rigidity extends to the carriage, cross-slide, and tool turret, which all share a wide saddle sliding surface to ensure stable cuts.

For versatile machining, the headstock features a unique design and a geared transmission that switches between high and low torque. This allows the lathe to transition seamlessly from aggressive, heavy roughing passes to highly precise finishing cuts.
Material support is equally robust, with a heavy-duty tailstock capable of holding up to 3,300 pounds between centers. The standard configuration includes an MT #5 tungsten-tipped center and a 3.5-inch quill diameter with nearly 8 inches of travel, though an optional 4.3-inch quill is available for even heavier materials.

Beyond its mechanical strength, the DLX75x300 focuses heavily on operator workflow through DAINICHI's proprietary "Guidance Function." This hybrid control system bridges the gap between manual operation and full CNC efficiency. Positioned directly above the carriage for easy access, an ergonomic, swinging operation panel houses a color LCD screen, keyboard, and all necessary switches.
