The Okuma LT2000 EX serves as a highly modular horizontal twin-spindle turning center built for the 6-inch chuck class.

Operating on a compact footprint, the machine balances primary and secondary machining by allowing operators to pair either its upper or lower turrets with either spindle. This architectural freedom means a single platform can finish intricate components in a single setup, integrating lathe, milling, and drilling functions across every available turret station.

Manufacturers can customize the machine across multiple distinct setups, choosing between two- or three-turret layouts with optional Y-axis capability. This modularity scales the tool capacity from 32 stations on the twin-turret version up to 48 stations on the triple-turret configuration.
