UNITED MACHINING North America has unveiled its new PRIME series, featuring limited-edition upgrades to its most popular wire EDM and milling platforms. This release, driven directly by customer feedback, aims to provide high-end Swiss precision at a more accessible price point for North American manufacturers.
From the AGIE CHARMILLES brand, the CUT E 350 and 600 PRIME models debut with an industry-leading power supply and Turbo Tech cutting technology. These machines are designed for shops prioritizing speed and accuracy without sacrificing surface quality.
Meanwhile, MIKRON MILL has introduced the MILL E 700 U PRIME, a special edition 5-axis machine. It stands out with a 20,000 rpm Step-Tec spindle and simultaneous 5-axis torque table motors, bringing elite automation capabilities to a broader range of manufacturers.
President Onik Bhattacharyya emphasized that these "PRIME" editions combine the brand's signature reliability with robust service packages. By bundling high-performance hardware -- like the HEIDENHAIN control and advanced spindles -- into these limited-run models, UNITED MACHINING is making top-tier Swiss engineering more attainable for everyday production environments.
