Touch Probe System's Ultra-Wideband Technology Eliminates Signal Interference

MUPS, Marposs' Ultra Probing System, is an innovative touch probe system that introduces the Ultra Wideband technology, a higher transmission frequency than the standard 2,4 GHz band, the reason why MUPS is immune to any signal interference.

Through the automatic detection of the position of the machine axes, the probing system provides advantages in terms of part positioning and tool checking, directly within the machining center and milling machines.

Marposs' Ultra Probing System consists of a transmitter (UWP) an antenna receiver (ANCHOR) and a machine cabinet interface (BS). The system components communicate through Ultra Wideband radio transmission that makes automatic pairing and frequency Xion, no human operation is necessary.
