Fullerton Tool Company, a manufacturer of precision made solid carbide cutting tools, has released a new, advanced performance end mill -- the Fantom 2.0. The Fantom 2.0 is a second-generation version of the company's Fantom tool series, made for machining in difficult materials.
The Fantom 2.0 is a 5-flute, solid carbide end mill specifically designed to excel in steels, stainless steels, super alloys and titanium. Enhanced edge strength provides a stable, robust cutter that allows heavier chip loads and produces superior part finishes.
The Fantom 2.0 is stocked standard with a FC-20 coating and is available in inch and metric diameters. The Fantom 2.0 is available in radius and square end types, and stub, standard, extra long and long reach lengths.
"Our Fantom 2.0 is a perfect example of how innovation remains at the forefront of everything we do at Fullerton," says Patrick Curry, President of Fullerton Tool Company. "We continuously strive to make our products more efficient and effective and we've achieved just that with the Fantom 2.0. Our new Fantom 2.0 has up to a 30 percent increased tool life compared to our first generation series, which will result in cost savings for users."
