Acme Industrial Company, a subsidiary of Jergens, Inc., has announced that two new videos discussing threaded inserts are available on its website.
The first video demonstrates the proper installation of Acme's Keylocking Threaded Inserts, which are used to quickly repair stripped, damaged, or worn-out threads. These inserts are also used to bolster the pull-out and torque-out strength of soft metals like aluminum and magnesium.
The second video compares Keylocking Threaded Inserts to helically-wound (formed wire) inserts. Both types are commonly used throughout industry, but there are significant performance and installation differences, which are shown on the video. A dramatic laboratory pull-out strength test is included.
