PRIMA POWER LASERDYNE will be demonstrating its new model 430 precision laser system at IMTS 2012. This system combines both high precision and large format workholding capabilities for industrial laser welding and cutting.
The LASERDYNE 430 system to be demonstrated features a special rack-mounted fiber laser with over 1400 watts of peak power requiring just 110 volts of input power and no water cooling. This combination results in a very small footprint for a laser system of this capability.
The LASERDYNE 430 system is designed for processing a wide range of laser-welded or laser-machined products using a basic 3-axis motion system available with enhanced integrated rotation and tilt axes for full 5-axis motion. Among its many features are:
The LASERDYNE 430 operates at speeds up to 800 inch/min in the X, Y, Z axis (0-20 m/min) with bidirectional accuracy of 0.0005 inch (12.7 micrometer). This accuracy is throughout the systemís 23 x 16 x 20 inch (585 x 408 x 508 mm) work envelope, making it ideal for processing a broad range of components at the highest rates with precision quality.
